Boat Freight Methods
Roll-On/Roll-Off (RoRo)
A cost-effective option for trailerable boats. Your vessel is rolled directly onto a purpose-built RoRo vessel at the departure port and unloaded at the destination. Reliable, straightforward, and popular for sturdy recreational craft.
Container Boat Freight
Smaller boats, tenders, and outboards can often fit inside a standard shipping container, offering maximum protection during transit. This is also a practical option if you have additional marine equipment to ship alongside your vessel, as you can utilise the space in the container however you like.
Flat-Rack Transport
For larger yachts and boats that won’t fit inside a container, flat-rack shipping secures your vessel on an open rack. This is an excellent option for mid-sized craft that require extra clearance.
Lift-On/Lift-Off (LoLo)
Crane-lifted onto the vessel at port, LoLo is the preferred method for superyachts and large or high-value craft where extra care is essential.
Air Freight
For small, high-value items or urgent marine parts that can’t wait, we can arrange air freight as part of our complete marine freight offering.
